Those Are Clouds is a multichannel video installation showing conversations filmed in 10 languages. In each conversation, we see non-actors who, instead of facing each other, look out into the distance and describe the world they see.

Originally exhibited on 6 screens (in 2022), the audio from each video is designed to blend together as an ensemble. In certain moments, the dialogue or the environmental sound is transformed into music, seeping into other stories. For publication (in 2025) a new version has been designed, where online viewers can navigate between each video or let the videos change on auto-pilot.
