Under “Negative Money”, customers were paid for downloading music released by Care Of. Six albums were published in an edition of 45 downloads and 118 vinyl each. Customers who downloaded an album were sent a check from the Swiss Postal Bank (via local partner banks) in an amount that was equal to the download edition number: from one to 45 dollars. This money came from the profits of selling the same albums on vinyl.
